Things that no one asked me to do,
but I was like, "you know what?"
A time zone app!⏳
I'm living abroad, which means that parts of my life happen in different countries and time zones. Tired of googling "what time is it in..." and then calculating the zone difference, I created this web app that does the job for you. I used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the wonderful Mapbox API, and the TimeZoneDB API.
A map of public bathrooms in NYC! 🌳
Living in NYC is great until you have to find a public restroom. That's why I created this map with the data from NYC Parks. I used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, the Leaflet.js library, and OpenStreetMap tiles.
1st place in Girls in Tech NYC ClimateHack 2023 🥇
I was part of the team that won this hackathon. We created GreenCloset, an app that connects people who want to give away good and useful clothes, like coats, pants, shoes, blazers, dresses, and users who need them. GreenCloset is a user-friendly platform that allows people to easily donate their gently used clothing. We used CSS, express.js, HTML5, Javascript, Postgresql and React.
Participation in DivHacks 2024 💻
We created Roots, a website designed to help individuals and families securely manage and share their health information, detect genetic risks early, and promote preventive care. It also fosters a supportive community where users can seek advice anonymously, addressing both privacy concerns and gaps in shared healthcare knowledge. We used HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Fetch API.
